Dominica and Rock Morris share a passion for food, friendship and fun - and they want to share that passion with you.

They were both born in Burma before their families moved away from their home country to Australia and NYC at very early ages. Both Dominica and Rock grew up in their mother’s kitchens. Rock came from a family of five boys and Dominica was part of a family of five. They each learned to prepare and cook their families’ traditional meals, where men and women are both proficient in the kitchen.

When they met later in life, Rock and Dominica immediately connected because of their love of discovering and sampling different ethnic foods. Dominica’s Caribbean Kitchen was born because of the people they met, their stories and their enjoyment of the foods prepared while operating a food truck of the same name. Opening the restaurant allowed them to expand the menu, interact and introduce more people to their joint passion – Caribbean cuisine.
